What a HydraFacial helps with

Congestion and blackheads

The vortex tip draws out what is sitting in your pores using suction rather than manual pressure, so there is no pinching or squeezing.

Signature or Deluxe

We offer two. The difference is what happens after the core treatment.

• Signature, 30 minutes. The full cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate protocol. This is the one most people book for regular upkeep.
• Deluxe, 60 minutes. Everything in the Signature, plus a booster serum chosen for your specific concern and LED light therapy. Worth the extra time if you are working on something particular rather than maintaining.

The add-on we recommend most often is dermaplaning. It removes peach fuzz and built-up dead skin before the treatment starts, so everything that follows reaches the skin more directly and makeup sits better afterward.

Is a HydraFacial right for you?

It suits most skin types, including sensitive skin, which is part of why it is so widely requested. That said, it is not right for everyone, and we would rather tell you before you book.

We will reschedule or recommend something else if you are pregnant or nursing, since the serums have not been fully studied for that. The same applies if you have active cystic acne, a rosacea flare, eczema or an open wound in the treatment area, or a current sunburn. Exfoliating already inflamed skin makes it worse. If you have taken Accutane in the past six months, your skin is more fragile than it looks and we will wait.

If any of that rules you out, it usually rules out a treatment rather than ruling out your goal. We will talk through what makes sense instead.

What to expect, and how often

You will see a difference the same day. Skin looks brighter and feels smoother walking out, and there is nothing to recover from.

That immediate glow generally holds for five to seven days, and the hydration and improved tone can last closer to two weeks. It is not permanent, and it is not meant to be.

For most people, once a month is the right rhythm. That tracks your skin's own renewal cycle of roughly four weeks, and results tend to build rather than reset, so the second and third treatments hold longer than the first.

Afterward

• Leave makeup off for the first 24 hours if you can
• Skip strenuous exercise for a day or two, since sweat on freshly exfoliated skin can irritate it
• Stay out of direct sun for a couple of days and wear a broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher
• Pause acids, retinoids, and scrubs for a few days

Beyond that, there is nothing to manage. Most people go straight back to work.
