CoolSculpting® Treatments in Nashville
Real Results Without the Recovery Time
It’s trite but true – every body is different. Each individual carries their fat in different areas of the body, and their bodies store or release that fat in different ways. Because of this, many individuals who are working hard to slim and tone their bodies have been able to reach their goal weight but have not been able to achieve the sculpted figure they want. It is frustrating but exceedingly common to have stubborn pockets of fat that simply will not budge despite diet and exercise.
This is where our Nashville CoolSculpting® treatment comes in. Known in medical communities as cryolipolysis, this procedure helps patients target those last few areas of fat by freezing and killing the fat cells.
Interested in this safe and effective procedure? Call Nashville Skin Company at our Nashville location (615) 235-5335 or our Franklin/Cool Springs location (615) 991-6311 today to find out more about CoolSculpting® and see if it may be right for you.
How CoolSculpting® Works
Most CoolSculpting® treatments take less than an hour, and most patients are able to resume their day as normal immediately following the procedure. The treatment begins with an applicator being placed on the treatment area. Patients may experience sensations of pulling, tingling, and intense cold until the area becomes numb. During this time, the cold being applied is freezing and killing the fat cells in the target area. Over the next several months, the body will process out the dead cells and you will start to see results, with final results usually being apparent at around the six-month mark.
CoolSculpting® is FDA-approved to target the following areas for treatment:
- Under the chin (submental area)
- Under the jawline (submandibular area)
- Flank and abdomen
- Upper arm
- Beneath the buttocks
