FAQs: Common Questions and Answers in Nashville

How many laser treatments will I need?

We always recommend 6 sessions for optimal results. However, this can vary from client to client.

How much does CoolSculpting cost?

Pricing for this treatment can vary vastly based on a number of factors, including; BMI, lifestyle, area of concern, size of area, etc. Therefore, it is necessary that you come in for a free consultation with a technician for the most accurate price quote.

How many units of Botox or syringes of filler will I need?

Pricing for injectables will depend on the area you are looking to have treated and what your end goal is. These two factors will allow our nurse practitioner to determine which product best suits your needs. Therefore, it is required that you see our nurse practitioner for a free consultation prior to booking your service.

What is the down time for a chemical peel?

Many of our chemical peels do not come with extensive down time. Some may leave you pink and can cause flaking in the 3-5 days following, in this case, we offer medical grade peels and boosters that can help the peel to penetrate deeper into the dermis. These treatments typically require 7-10 days of downtime.

Can I wear makeup after my facial treatment?

We recommend avoiding makeup for a minimum of 24 hours after receiving a facial treatment. This is especially true for microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, photofacials and injectables (botox and dermal filler). Many of these treatments cause your pores to open, making your skin more susceptible to infections and breakouts. This time can be less or more depending on the service you are receiving.

What if I’m going somewhere that requires me to wear makeup?

If you absolutely must wear makeup following a treatment, we sell IConceal by Image. This product is a specially formulated foundation that is safe to wear post treatment and is the only foundation we recommend as it is highly unlikely to interrupt the skin’s recovery process.

Do you take insurance or HSA?

Currently, we do not accept any forms of insurance or health savings accounts. We do, however, accept CareCredit and offer in-house applications.

Why do I need a consultation?

For our new clients, we urge you to take advantage of this so that you can rest assured you are receiving the best treatment for your skin type and concerns. For some services, we may require a brief, 15-minute session prior to each treatment so our technician can track your progress.

Similarly, if you have been receiving treatments and services at another spa, it is important that we are aware of the types of treatments along with frequency and product usage. these consultations are a way for us to guarantee quality and personalized service to each of our clients.
